ls-120 floppy drive

has anyone had trouble with a ls 120 floppy drive,,,it reads 1.44 floppy's no trouble,,but doesent regignize any 120 meg floppys..any help??

How old is it? Has it ever been cleaned with a LS-120 cleaning disk?

It is a laser beam reader, and it does require periodic cleaning.

less then a year old.........just switched it from my other system............abit,,,athlon 750.... to this one abit-100....athlon 900

I've got a friend with one that never would write LS120's right. Mine has worked fine though.
