It seems that the picture in the OP was taken from this Book.
I suggest that you should read its content.

Good find.
I just read (part of that book). Nowhere does the author explain what a "loyal member" is. Nor does it get obvious what it is.
When googling for "loyal member multicast", I get either references to that one particular book. Or I see more people asking exactly the same question. And nobody is able to answer the question.
Amazing the number of people that try to get strangers to do their homework.
It looks like you are the lazy person here.
Did you look at the question ? Do you know the answer ? If so, please explain it to us.
Life24 has asked more basic questions on this forum. But they were always valid questions. It seems English is not his native language. And I can tell you from experience, sometimes the terminology and words used themselves can obfuscate even the simplest concepts.
Life24, your question is a good question. Unfortunately, nobody seems to have an answer. I think that "a loyal member in multicast" is exactly the same thing as "a member in multicast".
I checked (quick check via google) to see if "loyal member' is used in any RFC. It seems that is not the case. That means it is not an official term. I bet the author of the book made it up himself. I'm not a multicast expert myself, but I never heard these words used before.
