Currently, I am working on dropping the multiplier on my A7N8X to squeeze the last few drops of performance out of my 800mhz Tbird.
The proc is unlocked, and I can adjust the multiplier up as high as I want it (currently @ 8.5 x 100), however, when I set it at anything below 8, it will not post, and will return after a hard boot at defaults.
My aim is to run it at 175 * 5, and max out my 512 Corsair XMS 3500, which is running @ 400 2-2-2-1t right now...
Basically, what else should I try to get the multiplier lower?
