i'm really not good w/ computers... but my computer runs so slowly and i'm not sure if there's a way i can lower using my physical memory? or some sort of memory? how much can 130MB of RAM take? someone? help?

any tips on how to make my computer run faster?

I think you need to provide a little more info on your system.

What OS?

What APPLICATIONS are you running?

A screenshot or listing of current memory usage.

StartupCPL is a nifty program that shows you the things you run when starting up and lets you choose what you want to run or not run.

If you're running NT/2k/XP, you can also try turning off unnecessary services. If you're unsure of what is necessary and what isn't, try setting them to manual startup type and reboot. If a service has started even though you had it set on manual, change it back to automatic. The rest of the services can start as needed as long as they're set to manual. Don't set anything to disabled unless you're absolutely sure you won't need it, or else you may render your system unusable.
