Lowering CPU Temp???

Is there anyway to effectivley lower the temperature of the CPU other than getting a more expensive heatsink/fan combo?

I'm running Duron 700@900mhz as of now and I was hoping to find a way to lower it's temp (It's at 100* when it's idle). The only fans in my case are 2 80mm that came with the Antec SX830 and the 300w powersupply fan. But, do case fans even effect the CPU temperature? They would only lower the overall case temperature, correct??? If so, what is there that I can do to bring down my processor's temp other than a better heatsink/fan?

Absolutely, case fans can have a huge effect on cpu temp.

CPu fans use ambient case temperature air to cool its heatsink... The cooler the air, the more effective the heatsink.
