lower back getting sore

any way i can stretch it out, or crack it. its right behind my hip. lower back/hip area right hand side is where it kinda hurts. if i sleep it goes away. but i guess sitting here at the computer and driving all the time hurts it. any way to crack it?

Prolly lower back outta joint. A good chiropractor is the cure :)

Chiropractor is like a crack dealer, it only takes once to get you hooked, and then you keep coming back.

Not necessarily. I go when I've put myself outta whack, takes a few visits to stay fixed, then I'm good.

do you really feel good after you go to one? like they fix your back problems (minor ones)?

Look for a rolfer in your area. The problem with chiropractors is that although they will snap your bones back into place, the connective tissue will just pull them back out of alignment. Rolfers work with the conective tissue and more or less coerce them into going into the right place.

Tsk tsk....such hostility! Obviously you've been to a quack. They're not all quacks (back-quackers).

It does take several adjustments before your muscles hold the proper alignment. Usually one visit isn't a permanent fix.

no, generaly the muscles do not hold the alignment as the chiopractor only adjusts the bones. The connective tissue is what aligns the bones, not the other way around.
