There is a whole host of CPUs from 13 years ago that are faster. I cant recommend pairing any video card with that. Not when you can buy a 3+GHz Nehalem quad core with 12GB of RAM off ebay for $200 that comes with everything but the video card. But if you are truly stuck with it then look for a HD4650 or 4670. Anything more is kind of pointless. 4670 is around $20 on the bay.

What we're saying is that you could buy an old Thinkcentre, Optiplex, or some other Corporate, off-lease desktop with an old i3, i5, or Trinity-based APU for ~$120, and still have more graphics horsepower than if you took that single core Brazos and combined it with an RX 460 or 750Ti. The Brazos core is tapped out. Adding a graphics card to that is a complete waste of money. Sell the system for a couple bucks and use it to get an older off-lease system with an IGP. If you have that small of a budget, it's likely your best bet to end up with something capable.

That's probably the single best part of your system. Is it SODIMMs, which tend to lay flat, or real DIMMs?

Thanks. They are DIMM. I'll be giving AMD ramdisk a try.

We'll see how it goes. I believe I'll be able to play D2 and an upcoming game I have in mind without trouble. But only time will tell haha.
