The lights in question are sold as a kit in Home Depot. The have 6 individual round lights and are meant to be mounted under a cabinet, over a counter. I.E. in the kitchen. I was peering at the transformer that comes with them and the output is like 11 watts.

My question is; Do these lights get hot? I mean, I KNOW they get WARM, but do they get hot like the regular halogen bulbs in the torcheire (sp?) lamps?

I'm thinking about using these lights in the new cage I built for my big boa. I don't want the snake to get burned. Lemme see if I can find a link *opens up another instance of IE*

Bingo! Right here.

They also come in brass-finish, which would look absolutely smashing against the dark maple stain of the wood.
