Your laptop specs read that it has expansion up to 8G with 2 x SODIMM slots. Is 1 x 8GB module going to work or will you need 2 x 4GB?
Yes you can run (most) low voltage memory at the standard 1.5V, but the memory you linked doesn't even have the voltage specified. Regardless many boards would default to 1.5V instead of auto-detecting a lower voltage, then the user would have to adjust the bios to lower the voltage. Since your bios isn't likely to have that setting, if it doesn't lower the voltage itself then you just gain, maybe a couple watts or same as if normal 1.5V memory were installed.
The question is, since low voltage memory is usually same price if not more expensive, why not just get regular 1.5V memory? I mean it would be different if you already had the memory and were wondering if you could use what you had instead of spending more money but since you have to buy some anyway...
Personally, I wouldn't touch memory on eBay (or 3rd party Amazon sellers) unless it was from a major merchant and then you can probably get the same price on their website storefront if not lower by avoiding eBay fees.
