Low Virtual Memory?

One of my applications for work won't run because the window says I have low virtual memory and I need to increse the size of my virtual memory paging file. Any help ?

right click on My Computer => Advanced tab => Settings (performance) => Advanced tab (again) => Change Virtual Memory settings.

of course if you don't have Win XP the above probably won't work.

it probably means u have low hard drive space on your main partition.

try getting rid of crap from your C drive.

to change ur paging file size,

go to System properties in control panel.

under the Advanced tab, click the settings button under performance

under the advanced tab of the performance settings, increase the Virtual mem size on the bottom.

crtl-shift-esc

proccesess

sort by mem usage, start killing things until you get to where you need to go. i concur that it sounds like your out of HD space and windows can't expand your page file by itself. make some room, you may also want to try safe mode
