Low vcore = should I be worried?

Hi folks

I have a Dell Poweredge server with twin PII 400Mhz (slot 1) that I use as a firewall.
The thing is that recently, the Vcore on the second processor socket has fallen to 1.764 volts from 1.997 volts.

I know it's the socket because I've swapped the processors.

Should I be worried? What's the net effect anyway?

I thought so too.

I'm not sure how it could have happened, but we were using this machine as a primary server in one of the departments at my company for nearly three years, with a single processor. When I decided to being it back home, I got one of my techs to install a second slot-1 processor. So the second slot has been in operation for only about 1 year. Could that have something to do with it? I dunno...

As long as its stable...I wouldn't worry much. Btw, u hv a backup server right ?
