Low speeds with Comcast but good signal strength.

I have the Blast! service and was hitting 50Mbps Down over my wireless network and about 20Mbps Up.

Over the last month I was only getting 15-16 Down and 7-9 Up, I have rebooted the device.

They sent a "refresh signal" last night and now I am getting my old upload speed, but my download is at 20MBps as well. It's like I am capped at 20Mbps, yet they say there is no cap and they have to roll a truck out to check internal wiring.

My signal strengths are:
Code:
 Downstream
DCID Freq Power SNR Modulation Octets Correcteds Uncorrectables
Downstream 1	13	603.00 MHz	-1.10 dBmV	35.08 dB	256QAM	77066885	1	0
Downstream 2	9	579.00 MHz	-0.88 dBmV	36.17 dB	256QAM	29882784	7	0
Downstream 3	10	585.00 MHz	-0.99 dBmV	36.39 dB	256QAM	29773491	6	0
Downstream 4	11	591.00 MHz	-0.56 dBmV	36.17 dB	256QAM	29742611	2	0
Downstream 5	12	597.00 MHz	-0.73 dBmV	36.61 dB	256QAM	29424717	1	0
Downstream 6	14	609.00 MHz	-0.69 dBmV	36.17 dB	256QAM	29214408	0	0

Downstream 8	16	621.00 MHz	-1.30 dBmV	36.39 dB	256QAM	29066667	0	0

 Upstream

Your upstream is too high. 51 or lower, might just be the heat probalby need to adjust the thermal gain in the line amps again, but tha'ts not where it needs to be for D3 upstream channel bonding.
Is that dory in bridge mode too BTW? I t needs to be otherwise you'll double and that can be a problem. can you see the HOME-XXXX wireless SSID in your house, if so its not in bridged mode.

WHAT?

My modem is in bridge mode. My uploads are great.

There are no weird SSID's in the house.

53 is within spec on the site....

I do see it says DOCSIS 2.0.

How do I adjust heat in line amps?

Yeah I type awful. That's what I work on cable and not computers LOL. You'd never know I used to do data entry, query management and some minor programming.

Anyway, the device you listed looked like a dory model, which has an internal router with wireless [Arris TG862G], so I wanted to make sure its in bridged mode.

53 is not in spec in my FFO, what site are you talking about?
I fail my installs and TC's for anything over 51, and the DOCSIS standard says anything with channel boning 3+ has to be 51, something about total RF power. the numnber itself is not as important, as the way you got there.

That's a DOCSIS 3.0 device and since you have multiple upstream as its a Docsis 3 network, for 2.0 it will work [single carrier], even then my FFO would have off with my head a 53 still.

"You" do not adjust line amps, the line tech for Comcast will. The Home tech that shows up will test the levels at points and determine if my guess is right or not, if it is he'll create a line job and have them take care of it.
