How much space do you have between the CPU socket and the side panel?

You may be able to fit something larger than you think there.

Well the thing is the PSU will be between the heatsink and the side panel. I got about 3 inches until the heatsink comes in contact with the PSU.

Hrm...that is quite an odd orientation for the PSU. 3 inches? I don't think any HSF is that small.

Damn, I guess I'll just use that case for a mini ITX system then. Thanks for your advice though.

If you think about it, the stock HSF is about the smallest one there is and they're too large. I don't know though...where did the case come from?

Someone gave it to me. It had an Athlon XP system in it and the Athlon XP used a stock XP2500 heatsink.

I remember arctic freezer 7 pro has a LP version. see if that works for you. ok I see Zap already mentioned it. check it out.
