Anyone tried replacing fan and heatsink for low profile graphic cards? As far as I can tell my Sapphire does not have heat sinks on the ram and the current cooler/sink makes adding them impossible on some of the chips. Now, I haven't taken the current setup off, but from what I can see on the card there are ram chips on both sides of the card.
Its perfectly possible that I am looking at something other than ram chips. Don't have access to photos right now, but Newegg has a view of the back of the card. The front pic the cooler/sink hides the chips.
If I am right and those are ram chips then I'll be looking at replacing the current setup so I can cover the ram with sinks also. And normally this kind of card would not need sinks as it's pretty low power stuff, but just want to see if I can increase overclock with better cooling.
