I want to get an AMD video card for a 2nd computer (my older computer.) It will be used for internet browsing and Youtube videos/sports feeds. No gaming or anything.

The computer has an E8400 Intel CPU and 4 GB of DDR2 memory. Right now I have a GTX560TI in it that I will be selling that since I do not use this computer for games etc. any more because I have a newer computer. Also, I had a problem with my Nvidia card and this computer so I want AMD for this.

What is a lower price ($50-$70) AMD card that would do what I want?

I reccomend the radeon hd 6770. Will be able to breeze through every day use/youtube videos/office tasks as well as be able to handle some modern games pretty well as a bonus on moderate resolutions. It's 65$ after rebate. I like this particular xfx version because it also has hdmi, which is cool for a low end/budget card.

Did anyone read the original post?

Get a 6450

The 6570 has no advantage over a 6450 if not gaming.

7750/7770/6770 is overkill. Why buy these if he already has a 560? Makes no sense.

Actually I am selling the 560. I have a 680 in my main computer. I want to sell my 560 and get a lesser inexpensive card to replace it. Only use of the computer, with the inexpensive card, will be to watch sports feeds on rebroadcasting web sites.

So this* is okay for my prescribed usage above?

Yes, that's excellent. I say go for it.

Yep!

That card is great for any non gaming builds. It sips power, provides all the latest features, and most are passively cooled.

They run cooler compared to 5450's while offering newer tech and more performance. They also support UVD3 video decoder, same as found on all 7xxx series cards.

Even the 512MB model is good if you can get it cheaper.

Just make sure to avoid the 32bit version if possible.
