My Antec sl350s 350watt silent power supply with 21a on the 12v rail seems to have very low 5v standby voltage. What is standby voltage used for? Will only having 1.99v on the 5v standby mess anything up? The 12v is 12.03, 5v 5.08, 2.5v 2.64, 3.3v 3.39, cpu core 1.4v (a64 winchester). The other values don't seem too far off, but 2v on 5v is a big difference. I got the voltages using Everest. If you need more info, ask and I will try to find it. Thanks!

I'm guessing that the sensor is reading wrong. If it isn't, then that's bad, and the PSU needs to be upgraded/replaced. Best to check it with a voltmeter, and if that's not available, try using a few different programs (but not at the same time) to read the sensors. What does your BIOS's "PC Health" screen show for the +5VSB, if one is shown at all? (If one isn't shown, then I wouldn't worry about it too much, Everest's reading may be of a "phantom" sensor that isn't wired up on your board. Generally, the ones that are wired up, are all shown in the BIOS screen.)

The 5+ standby is for things like booting by touching the keyboard or wake on LAN type stuff. Either way the sensor is probably wrong.

My bios doesn't have 5v standby listed, at least I didn't see it in pc health. The regular 5v is right on at 5v. I have been having a problem getting it to resume from standby by mouse click, it won't work. It will resume from mouse move, but not click when it's set to "mouse click".
