Low power/inexpensive video card

Is the G210 my best bet for a low power inexpensive video card? Must be *nix friendly so I think its best I go w/ nVidia. If I didn't already have a P965 board, I'd go and get something with Intel onboard graphics.

I'm going to use it for headless ESXi machine.

What about a 8400GS (also, MSI one)? They've been total crap for many things since they were brand new; but, for adding a display, they're awesome. Nvidia kernel framebuffer compatibility (if enabled in the kernel), nvidia xorg driver compatibility, nvidia binary driver compatibility, can offload MPEG-2 and H.264, and even do 3D desktop effects, if you ever re-purpose it. And, it's about $15 cheaper, from what I see, since those have free shipping.
