471/476 @150 FSB

Most people running @150 fsb get well over 5 from what I've seen.
Are there some drivers, bios settings that I should be aware of?
Are there other factors?
Do I just have a bad mobo for memory bandwidth? Abit VP6

edit: improved it a little new benchmark

Check:

1. Type of memory (PC100 or PC133, Cas3 or Cas2)...
2. BIOS settings ...
3. Any background programs running? ...

Don't worry ... it's only numbers :)
Count yourself lucky with no BSOD !!!

My memory is rated PC133 cas3... I'm using 2x 256MB pieces.

It's Compuwiz's Infineon stuff that will run 150 FSB though.
I'm running them at 'turbo' in my bios, that's cas2 right?
I don't think i had anything running in the background except MBM5.

Not complaining, I love the setup - VERY happy that I even got 150 FSB.
Just wondering if there was anything wrong or if these were normal.

edit: Just in case everyone didn't know already... Compuwiz rocks. =)

what are all the settings like in the bios?

cas2...cas3...auto?

turbo on the banks?

host_clk?

4way interleave enabled?

By the way what is the brand of mobo you are using?

I have a Biostar M7VKB KT133 and have 384mb of Infineon PC133@146 (fsb 110) with the settings forced to cas 2, turbo on all banks, 4way enabled, and host_clk+pci.

my scores are 480/580...

Does the memory have anything to do with the speed of the cache on the cpu chip as well? Sissoft states it is a test of your "memory subsystem (CPU-chipset-memory).

Bank DRAM Timing: Turbo
DRAM Bank Interleave: Auto
Delay DRAM Read Latch: Auto
SDRAM Cycle Length: 2

According to Sandra the Bank Interleave is 4-way
Should I hard set it to 4-way?

The mother board is an Abit VP6,
CPU's are 1GHZ EBs (1.125GHz @150FSB)
Chipset is VIA (VT82C694X and VT82C686B).

Damn! That's one of the highest P3 overclocks I've seen.

Did the Coppermine core ever reach higher clock speed than that? (Other than the recalled 1.13 GHz)
