Low Lifes in society - what percentage do they make up of the general population?

This poll isn't intended to berate anyone or single out any members of ATOT. Its a non-scientific study of how people percieve the lowest forms of society. Of course everyone defines a "lowlife" differently, which is all a matter of opinion in and of itself. A conversation this weekend touched off my curiosity of just what others percieve as a lowlife.

This is just to see how people percieve the number of lowlifes in society. What you define as a lowlife would be generally tough to equate what another person defines as a lowlife. So how about you take a few sentences and define the meaning of lowlife.

I suppose I would define lowlife as a person who will not follow the conventions of civilized behaviour. Low life = lower life form - cannot be civilized.

I guess a low life is someone who you feel is below you and your standards. So depending on how high your own standards are.... Like some homeless bum would probally say that most people are not low lifes. But all those rich guys at the country club would say that most people are "low-lifes".

99%. almost everyone is a low life at one time or another. few stay that way forever. the other 1% is reserved for people in comas and the mentally handicapped. but man do those people in comas really piss me off sometimes!

Depends. EVERYONE is a "lowlife" in some way.

Not powerful enough I'd say. It's fairly well known that cynics usually just have a better grip on reality than most. So what you are saying implies the truth is an "infotoxin". I suppose that IS the viewpoint of most politicians.

Seems like 20% or more of the population has a major medical malfunction in the US with some of the most gruesome inherited disabilities often in the 1-3% range. Does that exclude 20% then?

btw - So far a majority of the voters have chosen 29% or less of society are low lifes.
