Low HD Tach Score

I'm getting a low throughput score on my HD setup. It consists of an Adaptec AAA-131U2 SCSI RAID card and dual Cheetah X15s. My average throughput is only 40MBps, and that is also the maximum. It seems like the card is limiting the drives to 40MBps instead of 80MBps. I checked the bios, and everything appeared to be correct. I have two CD-ROMs on the same channel, which are not capable of the 80MBps. That wouldn't be the problem, would it? Any suggestions?

Yeah, thats you problem. Try moving the x15's to a different channel(if that card has multiple channels). Make sure your using a U2 cable for the X15 also. SCSI will slow down to the speed of the slowest device on a channel.

Nope, tha card only ha sone channel. Guess I'll be picking up a cheap SCSI card just for those drives. Thanks for the info.
