Low Frrame Rates

Man, I'm posting from an old-school IBM Thinkpad laptop. Pentium 1 MMX, probably around 166-200mhz (not sure, exactly), and probablky less than 64mb RAM.

Scrolling down the forum looks much like when I tried to have a game of BF1942 with 63 bots in Battleaxe. :Q

The funny part is, I just typed the entires first two paragraphs before they even showed on the screen. 😛
Any typos will have to go ignored, as they would take upwards of ten seconds a letter to fix...

:wine:🙂

That is cool man.

Probably lack of low ram to the frame rate and not the graphics card.

I had a pc with that spec but with about 256mb of ram and it ran pretty dam good. Apart fromt he lamo 2mb onboard graphics card!

I 'wanted' to play Fifa97 with that POS back in the day!

i dunno, i have an old P166 MMX that will do AT or AIM just fine. it's obviously slower than a newer machine, but i don't experience anything like you're talking about. i'd reformat that sucka.

On a side note, after a reformat, if I'm using the Windows drivers for my Radeon 9100, scrolling web pages is really bad too. The marvels of the Catalyst driver 😀
