low fps on minecraft with a GTX 660

im am getting low frames in MC even with Optifine, i use to get 110-120 with my old crapp build and since i have upgrad to a AMD 760K cpu and a GTX 660 from a crappy cpu an da gt 620 im geting around 40-50 and with optifine 60-70 and becuase i play pixelmon the frames go down to 20-30 so i really dont know anyone please help, i also get high fps on BF4/BF3 when i play on a 64 player server on high so i really dont know

Local world or remote server?

My FPS and draw performance is way better on a local world that it is when I'm on my buddies' MC server. (Atom CPU. Yeah, no.)

I was gonna ask the same thing. Could just be your internet.

Otherwise, I'd uninstall and install again. Seems cliche but it's happened to me before on my local server and uninstalling worked.
