LOW FPS in online games, tried things no fix..

I asked about SP games, you do have some of those right?? HL2?? DOOM3?? FAR CRY?? LOST PLANET??

also, how much ram do you have, the software you used omitted it.
I had to dig up a HT P4 3.0Ghz, running a 7950 on a dell machine to find scores, waiting for them to come up.

addendum: your score is in the average for the processor and video card.

I trust aquamark more for graphics than I do anything else, pc wizrd gives a good benchmarking for everything else.

I know the issue is not your pc, and is not any piece of hardware in it. I bet any SP game runs smoothly. (SP = Single Player)

Well, I also read that HT might cause a problem. I turned it off and went into single processor mode. It definitely helped. I notice each time I lag, that the Kernals in red sky rocket on the performance meter of the processor. In the game it was always the 2nd processor that showed that never the 1st one. Also when I switched like I said earlier to 800x600 instead of 1024 or 1280, it was much better. This shows to me and others I know it has to be a hardware issue and not a connection.

if you have to turn off HT then there's a problem with the software or OS, or both.

then show me the performance of HL2, DOOM3, and FAR CRY in SP mode. I still say you've got no hardware issues, and it's network and a good indication software, but if you refuse to listen from sage advice and experience, then so be it. good luck.

well, aquamark, 3dmark both give your system good results base don the hardware. I'd prefer a SP demo run and see the results of it, I think it's a network issue and possible software issue (game or OS, or both).
