By the looks of everyone else's scores and their equipment, my computer's score should be higher. Help Please!

D3 will kill that card at 1024x768. You could try the beta 4.9 drivers but realistically you're going to need to upgrade.

The computer automatically set the "quality" to medium. Any settings or tweaks I can do?

You should be getting playable frames. I run P4 2.4 @ ~2.88GHz, 1GB PC2700 and a 9800NP which is overclocked to ~9800P levels. I play on 1280x768 (widescreen) and high quality, very playable frames that I think must be 40+ fps. Haven't benchmarked because the game is running smooth. Anyway how much RAM do you have, and check to ensure that you have AA/AF off, at first I had those turned on and the game was ridiculously slow.

I've got 1GB of Mushkin Green 3200. What does AA and AF stand for? Where do I turn it off?

I play at 1024x768 on High Quality and I get almost 60fps...granted my 9800 Pro is overclocked to 441/762 on Catalyst 4.9 but I am also just running an XP 2500 @ 2.2GHz at the moment...

i can play high quality 1024x768 with my 9700tx and my p4 2.0 gig. I benchmarked it at 33.2 fps. Medium quality was in the 40's. You should be able to play with ease. (I have the newest omega drivers)

also check your sound acceleration settings...I had to turn my Audigy 2 ZS hardware acceleration down one notch.

Manzelle I don't want to insult you but WTF man? 60fps with a 9800pro even if it's heavily oc/ed?
My friend has a similar system like yours with his XT hevily o/ced and he can't seem to pass 53fps.

FYI there are at least a couple of D3 "tweak" threads in the Software forum, search will find them.

I can provide screenshots if you wish...I have NoAA and 2xAF turned on...it's more like 58fps but it is close to 60...

Ahem. I've also got a Radeon 9800 Pro, and I play at 1024x768 "High" quality, with only Shadows set to Off. timedemo1 = 47fps.
And my CPU has a PR rating half of yours; AXP 1600+.

Beta Cat 4.9, the Humus Tweak, Aniso set to 0, D3's cache set to 512, Triple buffering enabled, ATI CP sliders @ "Quality", etc.

I'd say it's more playable than Halo was and looks about 10 times nicer.

No need man. It just seemed strange
I've forgotten about the Humus mod. Sorry about that ok?
