Low end video card for build-your-own file server?

I'm getting ready to build a core 2 duo system. It will be used primarily a file server, as well as frequent video encoding and casual photoshop use. I will not be doing any gaming on this system. I may want to load Vista on the system eventually, and would like to at least be able to run Aero.

I've been restricting my choices to mobos with on-board video, since it would save money. But I'm seeing several boards I'm interested in that don't have integraged video, and am wondering if there a couple of solid, cheap card for those of us with modest needs.

Any suggestions? TIA.

You've really got free reign here to select any low-end or mid-range card that meets your budget. Most will do just fine, but I'd probably recommend a mid-range over the low-end caching cards.

A good performer for vista, could be the Radeon X1300XT, a rebagged X1600XT, or X1650 series, or the 7600GT or GS series, they are good performers and supports Vista Aerio, they will cost you between 70 and 150 bucks, all of them are good choices, but the X1650XT and 7600GT are the fastest of the group and any of the Radeon X1K series are great for video encoding with their Avivo engine.
