having used blackice for a while now, i must say it's a decent low-end firewall, but it's lacking an important feature. if i want to allow computers from an entire domain, i would have to enter every ip address. it doesn't allow wildcards to cover a domain, such as 160.*.*.*
does anyone know of a low-end (comparable in price, etc) firewall package which allows entry of wildcards to allow/disallow an entire domain range?

have you tried just putting in 160. and nothing else? don't use *'s, they aren't a wildcard in DM stuff.

rahvin:
doesn't work.. blackice doesn't give you a field with
___.___.___.___

it's just
_______________

and if there aren't four ranges in there separated by periods, it doesn't accept it.

no, haven't tried conseal. if it's as secure as blackice, but has the option to wildcard an entire domain range, it'll be fine for what i need...
