1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
Web surfing, 720p streaming to TV (1080p if I ever upgrade my TV), maybe light gaming in the future.

2. What YOUR budget is.
Super cheap..maybe $200ish

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
U.S.A.

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
n/a

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
Not a fanboy but this will be a Intel based rig.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
I5 2320, mATX case, new Evga 430w PSU if I go mATX, monitor (TV), KB & mouse, and OS.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
No OC

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
720p (1080p capable)

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Have a $100 to spend now and would like to have finished by next month.

X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
No

Basically I was bored one night and came across a auction for a non working parts or repair h61 mobo that included a i5 2320..It was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. Turns out the only thing wrong was the mobo had 4 slightly bent pins.

Now I am looking to build a cheap mATX or miniITX PC around the i5 2320. I need USB3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s so h61 wont do.

The 2 options I have found so far are

1. Used Zotac Z77ITX-A-E which includes a miniITX case, external PSU (laptop style), CPU cooler..basically it is a complete miniITX PC minus a CPU, ram, HDD, and wifi.
Price would be $70 shipped..add to that 8GB ram probably another $60, 120gb SSD $60ish, and a $10 usb wifi dongle.
I would be all in at around $200, but the included case has no room for a GPU and I doubt the PSU would have enough juice anyway so no gaming would be possible.

2. Used Intel DH67BL mobo $38, $10 HSF, $60 ram, $60 SSD, $10 USB wifi, + the ability to ad a video card later on. Total $180ish
(I have a PSU, case, and USB ODD)

which way would you go? if neither what other budget options would you sugest?

thanks

I no longer have the h61 board. I fixed the bent pins and gave it to a friend in need.

I am leaning more towards option 2 as it gives the ability to add a gpu and has more room to work around in.

Would the b75 chipset be better then h67 or are they pretty similar?

thanks

Yes, B75 is newer and offers support for 2nd/3rd gen core series CPU, 1600mhz ram support with 3rd gen CPU, native sata3, usb3, & PCI-E v3 support and overclocking features..
