I could really use some help here. My 4k speeds are acting like the driver is not aligned, yet is is! Here's what I've done so far:

- I installed a new C300 256GB drive into a X58 motherboard with SATA III.There is one SATA DVD on the Intel controller. There are no other storage devices plugged in.

- I used a fresh install of Windows 7 Professional and ran all the updates. I have never installed the Marvell driver.

- I installed the Intel drivers and a few other drivers (keyboard, mouse, etc.)

- I checked the alignment per the info in threads here, and it's correctly aligned.

Both CrystalDiskMark and AS SSD show 4K speeds in the 15-20 MB/s range. All other tests are close to what others post. This looks JUST like what Anand reported with unaligned performance. (AnandTech.com's article : http://www.anandtech.com/show/2944/10)

Also, in the Marvell 9123 BIOS config screen, I noted the following:

BIOS version: 1.0.0.1012, Firmware: 2.1.1.1404

I'm about ready to ready to return my C300 256GB drive. $670 for something that doesn't perform 100% is way too much. I'd love to keep it if someone can help me out, but if I can't resolve this before my RMA time runs out, it's going back.
