Low 3D Mark 2000 Scores?

My system seems to get low marks in 3D Mark 2000, I haven't tried 2001 one yet becuase I want to get 2000 where it should be (around 6000 I think for my system...)

Here are my numbers for the default tests.
2935 w/ Hardware TnL (1024x768x32)
3890 w/ AMD Athlon 3dnow (1024x768x32)
3683 w/ AMD 3dnow (1024x768x32)
4502 w/ AMD Athlon 3dnow (640x480x16)

My system is
Tbird 850@1140
256 Meg PC133
nvidia Geforce DDR 32 Meg
maxtor ata100 7200 rpm hard drive

what can I do to get them higher? what should they be?

Those scores look about right for a GeForce DDR. Don't forget that 3DMark 2000 runs at 1024 x 768 in 16-bit color for the default benchmark.

Have you submitted your scores to MadOnion? You can compare your scores to what other users have submitted. If you want higher scores, you should try some of the newer drivers or you can overclock your GeForce.

wooho, after a few bios tweaks...

5417 w/ Hardware TnL (1024x768x32)
4696 w/ AMD Athlon 3dnow (1024x768x32)
4719 w/ AMD 3dnow (1024x768x32)
7444 w/ AMD Athlon 3dnow (640x480x16)

Still tweaking.. I want 6000 with Max settigs!

Enabled AGP 4x
Enabled AGP Fastwrites
Changed AGP Apature size from 16 Meg to 256 Meg
Set DMA5 on my Hard Drive

thats about it...

They should be around 6000 in the default bench; meaning hardware T&L at 1024x768x16. Comprende?
