lincolnsonline.com

Good forums, one member is a very experienced mechanic and is always prompt to respond, a great help to the rest of us.

Nasioc.com forums for all things Subaru.
But a warning: the experts there tend to be pretty uptight, and the board does have a well-deserved reputation for this. However, this could be solved by observing some simple guidelines. Search before you ask (the search function there actually works and amazingly well at that), your question has probably been answered already a hundred and one times over. Don't ask stupid questions. Don't whine and cry about Subaru's realibility when it's obvious that it was your own damned fault ("I broke my tranny clutch-dumping from redline" or "I totalled my car while driving too fast/recklessly under inclement conditions -- RE92's suck!"). Don't claim that your warranty claimed was denied for mods even though your car was unmodded when you had bragged on the forum about your car's extensive mods in the past (like I said, the search function works amazingly well over there). And finally, don't question the answers you get back from the genuine experts there.

Sorry, I live in Portland. I can't wave to all the Legacys, Outbacks, and Foresters. If I did, I'd never be able to put my arm down. 😛
