Since it's your job to support all these devices (I'm assuming?) I would try and stick with one model as much as you can. I'm an Android user, I like Android more than iOS, but when several employees (who aren't very technical) asked me which phone to go with from their Blackberries, I immediately said iPhone. Because I'm going to be their support line and I'd rather they use a phone that is more locked down.

Also, a custom rom is great on your own personal phone to play with/use if you know what you're doing. But I don't know if I would want to hand out phones to employees with a custom rom. They greatly extend the functionality of a phone, but sometimes basic things are broken or don't work right.

I'm using CM10 on an GS2 and it's a great rom, but battery life can be a problem. Also the volume on certain apps is very low or cuts out after you go past the half way point.

I don't have anything productive to say. All I want to say is "why can't my job provide me with free phones?" Lame...

I actually prefer JB on Galaxy Nexus more than on Nexus 7. It feels more natural and better on a phone, imo. I think that's partially the reason Google went with phone based screen orientation on Nexus 7 rather than tablet.
I think the phone based screen orientation on the Nexus 7 is moronic.

Luckily Ultimate Rotation Control solves that.
