I know this is just another thread on the GT but here goes...
Grabbed the PNY 6800 GT now running 375/1100 ( haven't went higher )
Everything is running great..
Pulling down about 11k in 3dmark 03..
1600x1200 4x AA is running Far cry awesome..
However, i know 3dmark is just a benchmark and not relative to real world performance but, i only scored 18k in 2k1..
@ 1024x768 are you more CPU limited than anything else?
I thought i would be at least in low 20's..
What's everyone here coming up with..
Seems like several people are scoring low in 2k1.. I KNOW I KNOW ( it's outdated )
For the scrolling impaired
I am running 1600x1200 ULTRA settings.. NEVER expected the performance that i am getting out of this card.
Gorgeous game, running extremely well.
No slowdown. PERIOD. ( except after a saved game ) about 2 second churp..
Heavy actions flows extremely well too..
I know what HardOCP said, but it runs extremely, extremely well.
Ultra settings definitely are a reality...

To clarify an issue we've noticed across the board, Ultra Quality runs perfectly fine on current generation high end hardware. Yes, the game recommends >500 MB of nice fast graphics RAM, as do we if one's intention is to play through the single player game. But, it is very important to note that all the multiplayer maps we've played on in the past few hours have been small enough to avoid the massive swapping that occurs when moving between parts of the world on the single player map.
