Antec NSK cases are nice with very good cooling. I have a couple of the 4xxx series, and they're pretty small for full ATX. The 3-series are even smaller and now fit standard PSUs.

I agree mini 180 is not SFF. it is a mATX case though but just because its mATX does not necessarily make it SFF in my book. A very good case though performance wise.

Windows 7 is a good choice. Unless you have a copy of Vista or Xp sitting around, that's what I'd go with. That or Linux.

I do have a copy of XP - 32 sitting around =(

But on a brighter note, i got all my parts and CONFIRMED that the Noctua NH D14 DOES FIT inside of the P180 with respect to its height to the side door of the case, with room to spare.

-still assembling

ATM i am overclocking, installing programs, and transferring media files from my main PC over.
About 400 gbs of files is taking 4 hours from a USB portable MyBook

I'm overclocked to 13 x 265 = 3.445ghz @ 1.45 vCore, 2200mhz HT, 441mhz RAM (3:5 ratio, 982 DDR2, 1.9vRam) What is the max rated vCore for the AMD 620?

i've just installed K-Lite Codec pack standard + foobar2000. What other programs are essential for a HTPC?

I'm also looking for a good wireless keyboard & mouse. Do not need to come in a combo, <$80 total for both

Edit:: ALMOST FORGOT, The Noctua NH-D14 is the highest quality heatsink i've ever used! The quality in the construction is something u can feel right out of the box. The packaging is the great, the accessories are great (Huge tube of TIM, screwdriver, mounting brackets. Everything a DIY'er could ask for, even down the quality of the paper of the instruction manual. I'm happy with my purchase. + i got it @ employee discount at tigerdirect for $62.50 + actual shipping. Please ask me if i can help answer any questions about this cooler)

Yup, until you stick all that stuff into a real SFF (like a SUGO), come back and brag then :)

why are you giving your IGP 512MB of memory?

i think it's great that you can pack this much performance into small computers nowadays, though. glad to see 780G and H55/57 boards in mini itx too.

D14 is impressive, but you don't need one for an SFF. Most will fit a Corsar H50 and will have similar temps at 1/2 to 1/3 the size of the P180.

small enough for me

yeah but its misleading

I came into the thread to see a small case and instead I see the relative behemoth that is the P180 mini which is basically the same size as my Antec Lanboy or even Sonata III, both of which are full ATX mid towers.

The P180 mini is basically a mid tower for micro ATX motherboards...
