Looks like Daigle may have killed the owner of the truck he was driving as well.

MOSS BLUFF, LA (KPLC) - The owner of the truck that Kevin Daigle was driving Sunday was found deceased in his Moss Bluff home Monday.

Looks like the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree either.

Daigle has previously been booked into the Jeff Davis Parish jail at least 12 times, dating to 1987. His arrest history includes bookings for theft, battery, drugs and DWI.

He was charged with battery of a police officer in 2003, at which time he was also charged with aggravated assault by domestic abuse and two counts of simple burglary.

Too bad the three strike laws couldn't work properly to keep such lifetime criminals behind bars while not punishing those that could be reformed.
