so i'm not gunna tell more stories about crucial RMA'ing. but in short, i've had to RMA 4 of 7 Crucial Ballistix dimms that cannot pass memtest v2.01 @ 400mhz, 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2v
anyway, i just sold my 2 working sticks of crucial 1gb ballistix and have been trying too hard to get 4 x 1gb to work on my DS3P
setup is in my sig, what are some good reliable DDR2 800 or DDR2 1000 kits?
i say DDR2 1000 bc i've seen some that are almost the same price as 800mhz kits.
been looking at the BLUE mushkin 2 x 2gb DDR2 800 5-4-4-12 @ 1.8v and the BLUE G.Skill DDR2 800 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8-1.9v. and lastly, the BLACK Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 8000 5-5-5-12 @ 2.0v
all around the same price... of $70-85... which would u guys recommend? i'm not limited to those options at all.
