Loud beep after installing graphic card?

Yea restarted just now... but my right click on desktop still shows the catalyst control centre.

Try going into add remove programs under control panel.

Start > Programs > Control Panel > Add Remove programs (if your using XP)
Remove anything ATI. Catalyst Control Panel, or anything else.

also check you dont have an X-Fi sound card on the computer... since X-Fi + 8800 and some mobos.. = no boot.
