They should just re-write F1's rulebook to say that the bodies must be made from a particular plane's belly tank, no aerodynamic aids at all, it can only be x wide and y long, and have a sturdy crash protection from the driver.

...let them go crazy go nuts on the drivetrain/engine/tire combos and watch them catch air like they did in the old days 🙂
 
I'm a long time diehard F1 fan and the last several years have been mighty slack in the on track battles department.

I think it went downhill when they decided to cut costs and make all the cars similar.

Now they are going to get rid of refueling, so I guess you are going to have to find a way to pass somehow with possibly less pit stops to make up time.

Pit stops will be shorter, too. That will also reduce the possibility of making up a spot during one.

And with more cars on the track, I suppose it's bound to get interesting without refueling, one way or another. 😀
 
Briatore and Symonds are now gone from Renault and Renault will not dispute the charges that Piquet jr was ordered to crash his car to help Alonso win the 2008 Singapore GP...
