Lotus Notes and returned mail problem

I get some "DELIVERY FAILURE: (subject of my email here)" notes in my Notes R6 mailbox but I can't seem to get my Rule to delete them right away. It comes through anyway. I tried a Rule that simply moves it to another folder and that doesn't work either. Does Notes prevent actions on failure notices purposely ?

Is there an agent that can be written/executed (on my mailfile, on the server) to do this in light of that ?

Mail rules only work on documents created from the Memo form, so that's why your rule will not work. Delivery failures are their own kind of form. Check the design of your mail file to see what the exact form name is (I think it's "failure report" or something like that). Create an agent to delete documents based on that form after a given amount of time.
