lots of single lonely women at my work

so disregarding the scandalous ones, there are lots of women at my work looking for guys. Mostly in late 20s, early 30s. One of them was half joking to me today to set her up with someone. She was telling me this sad story about how it gets harder for women to hook up as they get older for obvious reasons. It's kind of sad because they're mostly decent, hard working women. Unfortunately, they're all significantly older than me and anyone I know.

 
If they were hot they would be hooked up, since they aren't I have to conclude they are ugly. Ugly women get desperate sometimes, just a fact of life.

Since you posted such an idiotic comment, I have to conclude that you either lack high levels of smartness or don't have much if any experience with women.

Women in their late 20's and early 30's are either "hot" or "ugly"? No middle ground? You don't think women of that age also get involved in relationships that don't work out, and thus end up being single for periods of time?

There may be middle ground but I'm not going to tap into it. Be my guest. As for relationships not working out, if a woman is attractive there will already be a guy waiting to hook up with her after the relationship fails. Therefore, once the relationship fails she is already going to get hooked up soon thereafter.

I'd say they range from average looking to good looking. Of course they're not supermodels, but most people aren't.

It's more that once you start working, there really aren't many opportunities to meet other people when you're stuck in an office.

As for relationships not working out, if a woman is attractive there will already be a guy waiting to hook up with her after the relationship fails. Therefore, once the relationship fails she is already going to get hooked up soon thereafter.

My fiancee and I's "in" group involves several "women" (hard to call them that - we're not that old) who are still single. They are at least a 7-8 on the 10-scale, and between ages 26-28... but they just haven't found anybody either. I think it becomes extremely hard to even meet new people after you leave school.

The 2 most obvious places - clubbing involves groups of people and guys usually don't approach groups because they come with their own... and bars... well forget that... I never believed meeting someone at a bar made for a good long relationship anyway...

Maybe they should try the supermarket ? I hear that's a good place... seriously... single bachelors gotta shop for those frozen meals... 🙂
 
They're looking for men who are confident with themselves. They don't want someone they have to take care of. They have to be taken care of. Study, dig deep into your own insecurities. Men are not all that different from women. You were almost a woman. Think like a woman.

I myself don't want to be in a relationship with a future. I want to be with a girl and never talk about the future.
 
Or that some of these women are 'happy' to be single as they were out of a long term relationship. So that they are happy to be single for a while.

But either way unless you have guys in the office that are willing to ask them out they are all SOL. Or that they just don't like anyone in the office.
