pursuing the med field now. worked in a PT clinic in High School. ALso worked in a BioChem place in High School and college. In High School I wanted to be a doctor, but because of certain situations I will not discuss, I chose a different path (which I regret).
Currently a programmer and taking pre-med classes.

my dad is a double PHD in Pharmecology & Pathology (I heard this stuff ad nauseum growing up)
sister is a optometrist
most of my cousins are doctors

I actually love the field and want to go back to med school. I was never pushed to go into the field at all. I came to a decision about it on my own.
My GPA in college was crap, mainly because I lacked focus and I didn't like what I was doing. Hopefully a good med school will accept me anyways because I am actually pretty bright and when I focus on something I tend to do extremely well at it.

That is the 'jist' of it.

I watch a lot of CSI so I can tell when someone is dead. Does this count? (oh and my mom has a degree in radiology)

there is no such thing as a degree in radiology.

is your mom a radiology tech or a radiologist?

Yeah something like that. She went to school for it back when I was in grade school (something like 11 or 12 years ago).

Then she is a doctor who specialized in Radiology. BTW radiology is a posh job for doctors. usually 9-5 (nowadays some work from home) and the pay is good. Not necessarily what I want to do, but great for a person with a family.

Not a medical doctor, but I am a doctoral student in a clinical neuropsychology program, so we work with ya'll folks fairly frequently depending on the client.
