There's a lot of good deals I can't afford to buy because of some the other good deals I've seen posted in this forum , that have me "tapped out" for a while:(

But if you got the money, there's a lot of good stuff as of 12:24 p.m.

Bad thing is newegg changed their refurbished rma policy. Anything over 30 days you are out of luck. No refund or repair.

Like what? Could you care to elaborate? I've been through the good and bad of Newegg refurb, and now I'm more careful about what they offer. Sometimes their new stuff with free shipping is more attractive than refurb with 15-day guarantee.

They were offline earlier today. Looks like they restocked the "refurbished" section when they came back online.

I didn't want to bother listing everything that was decent. By the time I do that, they'll be gone. The stuff goes pretty fast, because most of the time I check that area, there are more "no's" than "yes"s" when you check if they're in stock.

Some things I saw were Radeon 8500le for $66.....8500 all in wonder for $128,...IBM 120GXP 40 GB...for $51.75......etc.....etc... ............

There's too much to list. But, like I wrote, as of 12:24.....most of it was stocked.

Beware of the AIW 8500dv 64mb bulk for $128. I just returned one because it was just a bare card. Referb AIW are different from other referb video cards and Motherboards and CPus because the accessories are very important. The card it self is similar to a GF ti200 in performance. I just ordered a new retail ATI AIW 8500dv for $174 shipped. I bit the bullet and decided to pay $40 more after taxes to get a new one. Good luck to those who decide to buy the referbs marked Bulk on the main title.

Hmm good deal on referbished items on newegg?

REFURBISHED: Gainward Geforce3 PowerPack III Ti550 3.8ns 64MB DDR RAM - $185.25 15day warranty

or

RETAIL: GAINWARD Geforce 4 Ti 4200, 4ns, 128MB DDR - $187.00 manufacture warranty!

Hmm.... $1.75 more and I only get VIVO, Geforce 4 chip and 128mb and a better warranty..... Not sure which one to choose!

(ok there is also shipping, big deal )

I agree they are a little dried up right now. Why buy refurbished when they are offering new and better items for the same price.

Mine was a refurb BULK and I got everything with mine. Not bragging here, just saying that it's possible to get everything.

yup, that looks like a good deal...only 3 left!
I always see posts like this but I can't figure out where you find out how many of an item are left.

DO NOT BUY NEWEGG REFURBS - I SHOULD HAVE LEARNT MY LESSON BEFORE!!!!

LAST WEEK I ORDERED GEFORCE4 CARDS. I HAD TO RMA 3 OF THEM AS THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY NOT EVEN TESTED. I THEN ORDERED MORE EARLY THIS WEEK AND GUESS WHAT??? I HAVE JUST OPENED THE BOX AND FOUND THE EXACT SAME CARDS I HAD RMA'D THE WEEK BEFORE - MY HANDWRITING AND EVERYTHING!!! I AM PISSED.

Yzzim congrats. did you get everything that was advertised. OR did you get more. Did yours include the dvi to vga adaptor and the software(Ulead). Just wondering? Is everything working fine? Was it in good condition? I guess I was the unlucky one.

I ordered a number of refurbished things from newegg, mostly OK but i had few really bad experiences.
Then again, when you think a little more, you should not expect to get anything better than that.
I just purchased a power supply again and holding my breath I get something nice.

What is more problematic is that newegg calls "refurbished" the stuff that is in many cases not refurbished because industry standard for refurbished would be something that has been repaired and defective parts were replaced. I suspect that is not the case in many "refurbished" products newegg sells. One good thing is their customer service that made all that was necessary to help me in returning the defective items. Wasted time is my problem, I agree.

So it is your risk. Their caution note is exactly right, do not expect miracles and free stuff. Newegg is nevertheless one fine etailer.

for the record: my refurb 8500 128MB AIW was retail boxed with everything from software to dvi connector. for 212 shipped ...got it about 3 weeks ago. I love it. Once i got rid of that bastard audigy everything was fine. Clock stability and sync problems with aiw cards with creative. Turtle Beach for ever for me :)

well if anyone wants a good deal, they had an OEM Radeon 32meg VE dual CRT for $27 shipped, 1 left though :( It's made by Jetway (that's why it's considered OEM)
