Up until today we haven't had any rain for the better part of a month. The rains today started with an hour or two of drizzle. Now, keep in mind this is the first rain we've had in weeks. Do drivers have the inkling of common sense to realize that the wet roads are bound to be slick from the weeks and weeks worth of oil buildup? Apparently not. I counted 3 accidents along the ~3 mile route to the bank this morning and I could see another more serious accident (ambulance and firetruck on scene) further down the road.
Am I in the minority here? Shouldn't it be common sense that wet roads are especially slick right after it starts raining? Accidents like this eventually affect everybody's insurance premiums.
