This article says that there is a new baby born every 8 seconds or so. That sounds like a LOT of sex to me, especially considering by far most sex doesnt result in a kid.

I guess with 300 million people in the country, at any given time, there is a lot of baby batter flyin...

Disagree. That makes for a short-term problem of not enough elder care, but it reduces the long-term problem of overpopulation. I'd say those countries are a bit better off.

I've got friends who are working on their 6th kid right now... If everyone reproduced like that, we'd have been shit out of luck much sooner.
