Of all the times I've jumped on their deals, I haven't received anything from them. Well, that's not entirely true. I'm sure I've received plenty of spam...

hey crapper (usernamemax20charact),

I spent two hours finding free mags (and other stuff) links

I wouldn't have done that if the links don't work

freebizmags links have always worked for me in the past

I've gotten over 40 subs from them at least

If you look at anandtech archives or any other site like this forum, you will see that plenty of people have been happy with free stuff they got from freebizmags

so basically, if you don't like my posts, fine, don't bother getting free stuff
but that's no reason to crap on every single one of my posts

some people don't like posters like me, oh but some people do....

I've rec'd every magazine I've signed up for through them. The things that are hard to get are the t-shirts and videos/dvds since they're limited quantities. Although I did receive "The Grinch That Stole Christmas" video :)

On average it has taken 6-8 weeks to receive my complimentary subscriptions. They DO come (for me anyways), it just takes a while. I have 9 magazine subscriptions to prove it :::hangs head in shame:::

I think Psychology Today may be dead. Link works, but can't seem to get mag through it. Jus t get a list of alternatives I can choose from.

Bassin still good, though. Got it for the neighbor kid.

Also signed up for A beautiful Mind dvd, but would be amazed if any of the dvds were still available (they say 1st 225 requests).

Thanks for the post.

I've received every magazine subscription that I subscribed to from these guys (about a dozen) , and the occasional DVD or other freebie. Only spam has been more free offers....:D

Looks like I missed a few that I will now add.

Thanks for the post!

Maybe you should consider getting that chip off of your shoulder. Usernamemax was just making a comment about his experience with "free magazines," just as others mention their experiences with rebates (e.g. New Rochelle, OM rebate) and other deals. If you re-read his post, nothing was said to personally attack you, so there's no need to get your panties in a bunch.

All of that aside, you've got a nice list goin'. Thanks!

For those of you who go for the PC Magazine subscription, switch to the print version if you want. It takes a couple of months to kick in and you might have to updated it a couple of time, but the print version will eventually come. I wish I could extend my subscription, but I already receive my freebie from frebizmag :(

You're very welcome, and had he only replied to one of my posts in the fashion he did, I would probably have been more inclined to help him, but that wasn't the case; he crapped on several of my posts, so I was (IMO understandably) annoyed by him.

As for Psychology Today, I have two links for it, maybe they are both dead, now, I don't know but you can try em:

A general comment regarding the magazines:
Magazine publishers make their money off advertisers, not off of issue sales and certainly not from subscription sales (almost all the profit (if any) of a subscription sale goes to whichever "subscription agent" makes the sale). The publishers are pretty much willing to give away a very large number of issues/subscriptions in order to increase the magazine's circulation, thereby allowing them to charge more for advertising and to be more appealing to advertisers. Thus, "being creative" while filling out these forms, as one person put it, is not going to break their bank or bother them very much. Also, after you've filled out the form and set up an account on freebizmags, you don't need to add much information (are not asked many more questions) for new offers
