Servers are now down for the patch/conversion. Scheduled to be back on tomorrow the 8th. For those interested in the details, when the servers go back up (including a couple new naked ones) on the 8th anyone that has ever had a LOTRO account can log on, whether a current paying subscriber or not. Starting on the 10th, anyone else can activate a new account.
I've heard from those that played more in the beta that one of the changes being added is the ability to phase entire areas. Could be good for resources gathering, but feels somewhat odd from a normal in game perspective.
