I personally think this is one of the worst series of movies ever made. Why are there so many geeks/nerds that think this movie is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I fail to see what the attraction is.
Well, note that a lot of the Oscars were for the technical side. And for the technical side, it excelled. It didn't get best actor or anything like that and I agree it wouldn't deserve it. Best picture is debatable but I would agree it's a good choice, and best director? Definitely.Originally posted by: MikeyIs4Dcats
I thought the movies were okay, but IMO not to the level of winning 11 Oscars.

Anyone else want to jump on the bandwagon of "I'm too hip and cool to like a popular film. I am a beautiful and unique butterfly"????
Still lots of room!

I personally think that the Boston Red Sox are one of the worst baseball teams ever. Why are there so many jocks that think this team is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I fail to see what the attraction is.
