oh yeah, so pumped for this movie to come out - I hope it's as good as the first one....what am I talking about, of course it'll be as good as the first one! I just finished reading all three of the books again, so I am extra excited to see the films. Good thing we'll have seven months of Star Wars goodness before this one hits the theaters.

I'm hoping the teaser trailers don't give away some of the surprises in TTT. I have some friends who haven't read the books so they don't know about a certain thing.

You know of what I speak. :Q

<< I am offended by the title.
Jackson should rename it to "Sauron Strikes Back."

I own the single volume release of LOTR illustrated by Alan Lee. His artwork is AWESOME! It's pretty much as I always pictured everything looking like. My favorite pictures are the scene at Galadriel's Mirror, and when Frodo, Sam and Smeagol are approaching the Moranon(sp?), and you can see the armies in the distance. It's the picture on the dust jacket. It's a REALLY nice book, but quite unwieldy to read. Having it in three volumes would be great.
