Picked it up today. Dont know why, since I saw it at the movie theather and paid like 10.00 back then, and now 13.99 plus tax more. I got to stop wasting my money on DVDs, specially for movies I have already seen or can rent for cheaper.

Don't forget to buy the extended version that comes out in like November. I'm buying the extended box set of all 3 when it comes out.

The date I have for the extended version of ROTK is just after Christmas, right at December 28th. Interesting that they wouldn't release it in time for it to be an x-mas gift, but it does give all those who got $ and gift certificates something to spend it on.

For what it's worth, I don't have a date for the super-duper-mega-extended-edition-trilogy. Possibly it was just left off our board and will also be released on that weekend after Christmas, or that trilogy could be even further down the road.
