LOTR and why not

I was wondering why New line neglected to put bonus scenes into the new Fellowship of the Ring. Is it just a way to make money or more?

What do you mean by bonus scenes? In november the LOTR: FOTR extended cut will be released with 30 minutes extra footage integrated right into the movie.

I bought the DVD Tuesday, and watched it for the first time. I'm glad I skipped the theater and waited for the disc, it was good, but not the end of the wolrd good.

Oh, and to make this somewhat on-topic, the DVD 2-disc set was a joke. the second disc is usless. I don't want to see the damn Yanni video....
