Lotion that make you stay out of the sun

There are some lotions, like the ones for Acne, which you are supposed to stay away from direct sunlight. Some people have told me that the facial skin will darken. What suppously will happen if someone stays under the sun a long time??

yes, excessive drying, etc.... the medication dries out your skin, and sunlight just dries it out even more.
